I love your blog! I have a question about the concealer under the eyes. Does the concealer need to be the same color as the foundation since i'm applying it after I put on my foundation?
There is no need to use high end brands to get a beautiful look. Most people, especially in countries like Indonesia, cannot afford Chanel & Bobby Brown. Cheaper brands can definitely be used. I lived in Indonesia for 10 years, my husband is Indonesian and I have many Indonesian friends. The majority will never be able to afford the brands you're promoting on your blog. Also, why not promote some Indonesian brands, as well as local brands that are much less expensive? Great makeup artists can put together a spectacular look even with cheap products.
And one last thing, primer is definitely not needed. Products with silicone in them, like primers, are inferior to those that don't contain them and create an occlusive barrier on the skin that doesn't allow it to breathe, causes acne, allergies, rashes and does not allow the skin to naturally detoxify itself. There are pure and natural minerals which create a smooth surface on the skin and are far superior to 99% of primers on the retail and professional market. Just because it says Chanel on the label doesn't mean it's a high quality product. It's time to stop looking at merek as a sign of quality because they're not. They're just very sad status symbols that mean absolutely nothing in life.
